Kevin Sampson is the owner and one of the driving forces behind the Adventure High Inc. A true jack of all trades, Kevin is involved in just about every aspect of making sure things run smoothly and that guests have a memorable experience.

A passionate paddler and lifelong adventurer, Kevin has kayaked in some remarkable places around the world, including the Arctic and Antarctica. These experiences have given him a unique appreciation for the ocean, coastal environments, wildlife, and the many different communities and landscapes found along the world’s shores.

That global experience has only deepened Kevin’s connection to his home on Grand Manan. He has an extensive knowledge of the island, its history, culture, communities, and the incredible natural environment that surrounds it. He loves sharing that knowledge with visitors and helping them discover the places and experiences that make Grand Manan so special.

When he’s not keeping things running behind the scenes, you’ll often find Kevin out on the water leading kayak tours. His years of paddling experience, local knowledge, and easygoing personality make him a great guide. Whether he’s pointing out wildlife, sharing a story, or explaining the history and character of the island, Kevin enjoys bringing the experience of Grand Manan to life.

For Kevin, it’s about more than simply showing people around. It’s about sharing his passion for paddling, the ocean, and Grand Manan—and helping visitors experience this remarkable island from a perspective that few get to see.
